(Someone) Walked with a Zombie

RHO produces a meta-narrative with images and sound he personally archives from surfing the web. The narrative doesn’t directly describe each specific context, but alludes to critical matters of a given context. The subtle, but intricate plot and lucid composition of image and sound tell RHO’s strict classical training. His way of working—leaping over other terrains while copying and pasting—is an intrinsically subversive gesture to capitalism. In this new piece, RHO will collect and appropriate image clips from classic Hollywood movies and build a meta-scenario with club scenes of Dongducheon in its heydays, diagrams of GPR and many other various sources.
